KRS — Krajowy Rejestr Sądowy – National Court Register – a nationwide register of business entities: companies, foundations, professional and social organizations, entrepreneurs, as well as debtors. The register is maintained by the Ministry of Justice of Poland and authorized district courts.
NIP – Numer Identyfikacji Podatkowej – Tax Identification Number. The obligation to obtain a NIP applies to individuals conducting business activities, as well as legal entities, VAT payers, and social insurance contributors.

PKD – Polska Klasyfikacja Działalności – Polish Classification of Activities – a conventionally adopted structured set of types of socio-economic activities performed by economic entities in Poland.
CRP KEP – Centralny Rejestr Podmiotów Krajowej Ewidencji Podatników – Central Register of Entities of the National Taxpayer Register.
